Martin Luther’s Favorite Bible Verses

Many of the writings of Martin Luther, the reformer from the 1500’s, have been translated. There are 76 volumes of Luther’s Works and many other books as well. This does not exhaust what Luther wrote–other material has not yet been translated.

Dr. Benjamin Mayes of Concordia Publishing House is translating more and more of Luther’s writings. During his work, he found a list of Bible verses that provided Luther comfort. Here is that list and I encourage you to discover the comfort that Luther found in them:
