It Pays to Go to Church

This morning, my wife and I went to a Christmas Day service at a neighboring congregation. We don’t have a Christmas Day service at my congregation because that has not been their tradition and with the size of our church, there wouldn’t be many who would show up. But it will change next year since Christmas Day is on a Sunday.

Besides seeing a few people we already knew and one lady who remembered us from last year, our time of worship was very special. Plus, I got a thought from the pastor’s sermon to put on our church’s signboard and I thought I would try it out on you.

The message:

What did you get for Christmas?
I got a Savior

I pray that catches the hearts of those who pass by our building. That’s the best gift we have ever received!
