Unsatisfying

There are many who are unsatisfied with things that happened in recent days. The Cubs winning the World Series and Donald Trump winning the election are just a couple.

I came across a video that shows those “unsatisfying” moments of life.

Because of recent changes in WordPress (the host for my blog), I cannot embed the video in this post but I can give you the link for it. Here it is: https://vimeo.com/189919038

This is what the producers of this video said:

During the summer of 2016, We created and directed a video about unsatisfying situations: the frustrating, annoying, disappointing little things of everyday life, that are so painful to live or even to watch.

We quickly realized that there are a lot of other situations that would be fun to see animated, so we decided to run an animation challenge around this idea.

I think you get the idea. By the way, there are a whole series of videos under the “Unsatisfying” theme. Check them out.

  1. Is this video a response to the current political circumstances? If so, then tell my Hindu neighbors who have only recently been harassed for being Muslims that what is happening is simply an “annoyance”. There is fear among good people. It is new, it is seen as the new normal and it is more than having your spoon slip into your soup.

    1. No. It is part of a series of videos produced that bring to light unsatisfying moments in our lives. I added the thought about our current politics. Your neighbors are facing something entirely different and that is where you can be a good neighbor to them and show them your love and concern.
